Welcome to the Poult Wood Squash and Racketball Club Web site.
PWSRC is a friendly, long-established club located in woodland surroundings about three miles north of Tonbridge in Kent.
Members play in squash and racketball leagues and friendlies; and we hold a monthly club night that offers a great opportunity to socialise after a few games.
We have four, well-maintained, heated courts sharing a spectator viewing gallery. The courts are open between 9:00AM and 10:20PM, seven days a week.
Post-match, enjoy a luxurious shower in our recently refurbished changing rooms and then relax with food and drinks in our Clubhouse with welcoming bar, lounge and restaurant, which we share with Poult Wood Golf Club.
The Clubhouse is open to everyone and so guests and visitors are welcome to make themselves comfortable there anytime.
Racketball
Poult Wood Squash and Racketball Club is the leading racketball club in the area.
We run a team in the Kent Racketball league, and there is a monthly club league and an annual tournament.
Some members recommend racketball (racquetball) as less stressful on the limbs than squash, yet still providing all the exercise value of run on court.
Squash
We run a monthly internal club league and an annual tournament, usually held in April.
Currently there are about ten divisions in the league.
Teams play in the North West Kent Priory competition. We are updating our results on this site.
Junior Squash
We have a thriving Junior Squash section, regularly attended by members currently aging between five and 16 years.
Coaching is supervised by England Squash-licensed-coach Mike Tonge.
Events
We hold a number of social events each year and will be posting details of these on the Web site as soon as dates are finalised.
Each year there is the Club Tournament that includes age-group and handicap competitions.
