Poult Wood Squash and Racketball Club has a tradition of welcoming young members into the Club and encouraging them in their learning and enjoyment of the game of squash.
Our Coach
Our Junior Squash sessions are run by Mike Tonge. Mike is a Level 2 coach licensed by England Squash.
News of Next Junior Squash Coaching
Our next squash coaching for children starts at PWSRC on 13 January 2007 and runs for ten consecutive weeks.
The cost is £35.00 for the series of 10 sessions.
If you able to come to the occasional session only, the cost of each session attended is £4.00.

Let Mike know as soon as you can - places may be limited.
Mike will need your child's name, age and date of birth; any medical issues (eg. asthma, hearing, eyesight); and parent/guardian name and contact details.
Junior Squash Sessions
Coaching for younger juniors - five to about 10 years old - will run from 09:30 to 10:30.
For older juniors - up to 16 years old - from 10:45 to 11:45.
The sessions for younger juniors are based on the Minisquash programme developed by England Squash for primary-school-age children.
Minisquash is designed to:
- Develop a range of ball and racket skills
- Improve hand-eye coordination
- HAVE FUN.
The first stage, called FUNdation starts with throwing and catching activities, before moving on to simple racket skills.
We provide special rackets and balls designed to meet the needs and abilities of young children.
Coaching for older juniors combines working on the basic squash shots with playing games and the occasional competition - and having fun as well.
We provide rackets and balls.
